Big News from Our FFA Chapter!
Last week, FFA President Keyamari Keys was officially voted in by the Chautauqua County Farm Bureau Board to serve as a Team Representative. She's making history as the first official teen member on the board in our county — an incredible milestone!
Keyamari also had the opportunity to advocate for agriculture by meeting with Senator George Borrello and Assemblyman Andrew Molitor. She shared her concerns, expressed her passion, and described her role in agriculture — a proud moment for all of us.
Just a few days later, several of our FFA members represented the chapter at the Farmer Neighbor Dinner. Makenzie Lahnen, Taylor Lahnen, and Keyamari teamed up with the 4-H Teen Ambassadors to lead the ceremony with the Pledge of Allegiance and later rolled up their sleeves to help with cleanup. This was one of the largest dinners to date, and it was inspiring to see our students connecting with the community on such a big stage.
These young leaders are the future of agriculture, and we're so proud of their drive and dedication! 🌾💙💛
