COVID Home Test Distribution Planned For Thursday, February 17th
We have received more COVID-19 home test kits for distribution to our families. We have enough test kits for each student in Pre-K through grade 12 and will have them here for parent pick-up on Thursday, February 17th.
These kits each contain two tests that are designed to be administered at home for the benefit of our school families. If you would like to pick up a test kit for each child from your home who is enrolled here at CVCS, then just plan to drive in to the Fitness Center parking lot at the middle-high school at the following times on Thursday, February 17, 2022, between 10 AM and 12 PM or between 3 PM and 5:30 PM.
If you have any questions about this distribution please call the District Office at 962-5155.

Congratulations, CVCS Bowlers! They finished the regular season yesterday. Calvin Hilliker made the divisional first team All Stars and Matthew Helwig made the divisional second team All Stars! The team won the Sportsmanship Award. It was an awesome inaugural season for the team!

Students at SES will be doing a book swap on their book day in the library during the week of February 14-18. Please send in a gently used book with your child so that they can swap it for a different book. Students who do not bring a book will still get to choose a book.

Dylan Lewis, Riley Schroeder, Jon Zybert and Paige Zybert earned their TestOut IT Fundamentals Pro certification last semester in Mr. Cole's Computer Hardware class. To earn this certification, the students had to demonstrate proficiency in the following computer concepts: computing basics, hardware, operating systems, networking and security. This is the first group of students from Cassadaga to earn this certification.

Mr. Guziec's Fourth Grade classroom participates in the TIC Program (Trout in the Classroom). We are currently on day 117 of raising the eggs to the fry stage. The Brown Trout eggs are sourced from the Randolph Fish Hatchery. We have approximately 175 healthy, young fry. Our goal is to release them into our local watershed as fingerlings in June. Due to the large amount of fish we are raising, we decided to name them all George.

Monday, Mrs. Emmott's Pre-K class made their own personal pizzas for lunch with the help of the food service staff. They stretched the dough then topped it with sauce, cheese and pepperoni so it was all ready for the kitchen staff to bake it for them.

Ms. Brautigam’s first graders learned about how light can go through different materials and made “stained glass” for their windows!
