We have just been notified that bus #185 (Zebra bus) gently slid off the side of the road during the elementary run and was unable to get back out of the deep snow. Everyone is safe and unharmed and another bus is on the way there to take the students to Sinclairville Elementary School. Our administrators will greet that bus when it arrives and, as a matter of protocol, we will also have our nursing staff talk with each child to confirm their well being. Once that process is complete our nurses will also call each child’s family to notify them of this minor incident. We appreciate our bus drivers and understand that navigating all the roads of our district in Western NY winters is never easy! But, everyone is fine and will be in school very soon.
