CVCS instrumentalists selected for CCMTA All-County Winter Festival The CVCS Music Department was well-represented at the recent CCMTA All-County Winter Festival, held at Maple Grove HS on February 11th. Students prepared the music in advance for several sessions with Mrs. Zenns, and then joined other top musicians of Chautauqua County from 9am-4pm to rehearse together for several hours and then perform in a concert. Our students participated in the Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Elementary Band. We are proud of all of you, both for sharing your talents with others and doing the extra work to participate in this event! photo 1: James Mullen (baritone sax, Jazz Ensemble); Haydn Myers (percussion, Percussion Ensemble); Shane Comstock (bass, Jazz Ensemble) photo 2: Elementary Band: Bridget McQuiggan, flute; Lydia Petry, oboe; Eliana Katilus, clarinet; Nora Nopper, saxophone; Evelyn Winton, clarinet; Brionna Doland, French horn.
