FYI - Some parents have reported strange test notifications from PowerSchool. Powerschool was running a test and mistakenly pushed their test out to a segment of the public. Not all parents received the test message but if you did, please just disregard it.

We had the privilege of having Mr. Paul Cooley attend our Board of Ed meeting last week to present the Chautauqua County Sports Hall of Fame Legacy Award to Cassadaga Valley. Mr. Cooley taught and coached here for 32 years! The legacy award will annually honor an outstanding female student-athlete here at Cassadaga Valley High School, "as a small token of appreciation for the wonderful things that have happened to us largely because we were given the opportunity to spend a large part of our lives here in the Valley."
Mr. Cooley went on to say "This award is sponsored by the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame as a result of my wife and I making a donation to the Hall of Fame Endowment Fund which will enable a Cassadaga Valley female scholar-athlete to be honored for years into the future. It is named the Paul and Martha Cooley Legacy Award. Her name is included because she was behind everything that I ever accomplished over the 68 years as my wife and best friend and was an avid supporter of Cassadaga Valley athletics."
We're so honored to receive this award that we can present to female student-athletes in years to come. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Cooley for always supporting The Valley! #ValleyProud
