Three high school students were accepted into SR all county band. They will perform June 7th at the Chautauqua Institution. Great job!!🎶🎵

On Thursday, March 6th, the Key Club had 23 students attend the field trip to Russell Roller Rink. They fell, they laughed, they ate and they had a blast! Chaperones Mrs. Schrader and Mrs. O'Hara were pretty good at it too.🛼 🛼

This week is National School Social Worker Week so we'd like to take a minute to celebrate the great work of our two amazing Social Workers, Ryan Smith and Emily Pleszewski.
At Sinclairville Elementary School, Ryan spends his time working to empower others and working with students to overcome challenges, ensuring all students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Ryan is a great support for our families and uses his experience and expertise to connect families with the resources they need. Thank you Mr. Smith!
At the Middle/High School, Emily Pleszewski. or Ms. P, works tirelessly to provide support to our students when in need, and helps to connect our school to community resources. We're grateful for the guidance that she provides to our kids, the work she does with classrooms, and that she brings her dog, Nova, a few times per week 🐕
Thank you, Ms. P and Mr. Smith, for everything that you do for the school community at Cassadaga Valley. We appreciate your contribution each and every day! Happy School Social Workers Week!

Time is moving right along in the Home Economics classroom. A new semester brings new faces and excitement to class! This week, students learned how to put a spin on a classic recipe: Buffalo spaghetti and meatballs - it was a hit amongst the students! The recipe adds a flare with Frank's RedHot® and a touch of sweet with ricotta cheese and heavy cream.
Students also learned about foodborne illness with a creative new visual experience. 7th and 8th grade students made a poster illustration about food safety and, as part of a wellness program, they began to learn about Blue Zones (geographical regions around the world where people live exceptionally long and healthy lives) and how people live to reach 100 years old, through diet and exercise. Students will be preparing some healthy meals in the upcoming weeks of this semester!
