World Series Returns to Jamestown, NY – August 14–22, 2026
Jamestown, NY — The 13U Babe Ruth World Series is officially returning to Jamestown, New York, and will be hosted at the historic Russell E. Diethrick, Jr. Park from August 14–22, 2026.
The Babe Ruth World Series Committee is proud to announce that Joseph B. Crawford, a born and raised Jamestown resident, has been selected as Manager of the Jamestown 13U Babe Ruth World Series Team.
Mr. Crawford and his coaching staff are currently seeking 10–15 players from the surrounding areas to represent Jamestown on the World Series stage. Player roles being evaluated include Pitcher-Only, Position Players, Two-Way Players, Defensive Specialists, and Speed-Based Players.
Tryout Information
Tryouts will be held on the following dates:

Sunday, March 1, 2026

Players are strongly encouraged to attend all three tryout dates.
Player Eligibility
Players must be born between May 1, 2012, and April 30, 2014
Players must reside in or attend school in one of the following school districts:
Jamestown, Falconer, Frewsburg, Lakewood, Cassadaga, Chautauqua Lake, Bemus Point, Westfield, Sherman, Panama, Ripley, Brockton, Fredonia, Dunkirk, Silver Creek, Forestville, Gowanda, Randolph, Clymer, Pine Valley, Little Valley, Franklinville, Salamanca, Ellicottville (NY), or Warren, PA
Program Expectations
Selected players will be required to participate in the Jamestown Babe Ruth League. Once the roster is announced, the team will practice multiple times per week throughout the spring and summer. The program plans to compete in tournaments, pickup games, and scrimmages in preparation for the World Series.
