The Annual School District Vote will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2021, from 1 PM - 8 PM prevailing time in the Cafeteria at the Middle/High School, 5935 Route 60, Sinclairville, NY, for the purpose of electing two members of the board of Education, voting on the District's budget for the 2020-2022 fiscal year, and voting on a proposition to purchase buses and similar vehicles for use in the transportation program of the District.
BOARD MEMBER ELECTION
The election of two members for the Board of Education shall be held for one 4-year term of office, (7/1/21 - 6/30/26) to fill the vacancy created by the expiration of the term for Marcus Clark, and one partial-term of office (5/19/21 - 6/30/24) to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Robert Main. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes will fill the full-term vacancy. The candidate receiving the second highest number of votes will fill the partial term vacancy.
All candidates shall be nominated by petition. Each petition shall be directed to the District Clerk and signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the district. Petitions may be obtained from the District Clerk in the Central Administration Office at the Middle/High School building during regular business hours Monday - Friday.
PROPOSITION 1 - 2021-2022 BUDGET

The next meeting of the Board of Education will be a Budget Work Session, held April 12, 2021, at 6:00 PM in the M/HS Multi-Purpose Room. The next meeting will be a Budget Work Session, to be held April 20, 2021, at 6 PM, to be followed at 7:30 PM by the regular monthly meeting of the Board. We anticipate the Board approving the 2021-2022 budget at this regular meeting. The public is welcome to attend any/all of these meetings.
PROPOSITION 2 - PURCHASE AND FINANCING OF BUSES AND SIMILAR VEHICLES
Through the use of bonds or and/or other obligations, NYS Transportation Aid funds, and funds already available in the District's Transportation Reserve Fund, the District is looking to purchase one 60-passenger school bus, one 42-passenger school bus with a wheelchair lift, one 24-passenger bus with a wheelchair lift, and one 5-7 passenger transportation vehicle, all for use in the transportation program of the district.
PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING
The public hearing for the voters of the District will be held Monday, May 10, 2021, at 6:00 PM in the M/HS Multipurpose Room for the purpose of presenting and explaining the proposed 2021-2022 budget of the District.
Applications for Absentee Ballots may be obtained at the office of the District Clerk in the Middle/High School between 8 AM - 4 PM Monday - Friday. Completed applications must be received at least seven (7) days before the District Vote, if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or on the day before the District Vote, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter. Completed absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5 PM on May 18, 2021.
