Happy Holidays, from The Valley!

Santa Claus is coming to.... The Valley! Here he is, welcoming our PreK kiddos into the building! #HolidaysInTheValley

The High School Science/STEM Club held their December meeting this week. The meeting was run by Vice-President, Addison Helwig. She planned, prepared and taught the club members how to make a Christmas slime. As you can see, they add a lot of fun!

Thank you to everyone who donated canned goods for our annual canned food drive! Our goal was 1000 cans and even though we fell short of our goal, Park Methodist Church was so grateful to receive the amount we were able to collect. They were in great need this year and the donations immediately helped so many families in our community. Thank you, once again, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Reminder of our FREE Youth Basketball Clinic on 12/23!

The Key Club recently purchased and wrapped gifts for all 48 residents at Heritage Village. They also made 48 homemade cards. After several weeks of preparing, decorating and wrapping, three Key Clubbers went to personally deliver these gifts and spend time with each resident. We want to thank Natalie Hallett, Ginx Griffith and Lorelei Beichner for delivering the presents. A huge shoutout to CVCS alumni and past Key Club President, Caleb Dopson, for going to Heritage as well to spend time with the residents and pass out the cards. #ValleyProud #HolidaysInTheValley #HappyHolidays

The Valley Cafe made over 80 cookie trays with almost 2000 cookies to sell at the December cafe.
Happy Holidays!

The high school book club took a trip to Barnes and Noble last week. They did a fundraiser over the summer and the students were able to go back, before winter break, to use the money they earned to purchase gifts for the holidays!

Just a reminder of tomorrow's Family Center event, "cookies and conversation"!! All are welcome!

It was pajama pants day, today, in The Valley!

Cassadaga Valley's FFA kids participated in the Sherman Christmas Lighted Tractor Parade over the weekend. They worked all week during class to get the truck set up. The students are looking forward to next year's parade and are working on being BIGGER and BETTER! #ValleyProud

Take a look at our upcoming Family Center events! All of these events are FREE and open to the public! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Raynor at (716) 962-8581 ext. 1301

The Key Club worked all week with Mrs. Green's Cooking and Foods classes to make Christmas cookies for the Samaritan House's weekend fundraiser. The students researched recipes and made shopping lists, then they spent a couple days making the dough and decorating and frosting the cookies. 100 cookies were baked and put into little holiday baggies. All proceeds from the cookies will go to their roof fund. A roof is vital to continuing their community outreach. Samaritan House board member and CVCS alumni, Tristian Pierce, came to pick up the cookies. Tristian was an active member and officer of our school's Key Club all four years while he was a cougar. #ValleyProud!

We're #grateful for our next new hire spotlight, Kimberly Mosier! Kim is one of our new middle/high school Teacher Aides! She's been a stay at home mom who volunteered at her kids' sporting events, coached midget football cheerleading and helped her dad coach since she was 16. Being involved in The Valley allowed her to get to know a lot of the kids which led to her applying for a job here. She truly loves the kids in our community and wanted a job where she could help shape children's minds to become the best they can be!

Our next #ValleyProud new hire spotlight is Hollie DeGolier! Hollie is one of our new Special Education Teacher Aides. Hollie has a lot of experience in 1:1 care and was excited to become a part of "an amazing school system"! Thank you for your dedication to our students, Hollie!
