Good morning,
Sinclairville Elementary had a medical emergency for a single student this morning. We did go into a Hold in Place, where students have to stay in their classrooms and out of the halls so that emergency medical staff can assist. The student has been attended to and our building is back to our regular school day schedule.

Every year, the week before spirit week, all of the classes build a wall to represent their class. Teachers vote for the best wall on the last day of spirit week. The winner of the spirit walls gets points towards their class to hopefully win spirit week! This, along with many more competitions and games through the week, will gain their class points. The class with the most points at the end of the week “wins” spirit week and is named the class with the most school spirit!

Cassadaga Valley FFA had a great day at Districts Competition! We are so proud of everyone who spent hours practicing and preparing for this contest. For those who don't know, yesterday’s event was a Leadership Development Event (LDE). LDEs are competitive events that allow students to demonstrate their skills in public speaking, communication, and decision making. They also help students develop critical thinking skills and teamwork.
Our members (5 out of 6 are first timers) who competed are:
- Employment Skills: Taylor Lahnen (7th place)
- Employment Skills: Jackson Hattaway (8th place)
- Employment Skills: Dominick DeGolier (9th place)
-Junior Creed: Makenzie Lahnen (2nd Place🏆)
- Sr. Extempt. Speaking: Maddison McLane (6th place)
- Sr. Extempt. Speaking: Keyamari Keys (4th place)
Mrs. Meeder is so INCREDIBLY proud of each and every one of them!
Congratulations to all of our members and a special shout out to Kenz for placing second in her event/division. She will be heading off to Substates in March to put Cassadaga Valley back in business! 😎

Nice work, Emma Nickerson!

The FFA kids received their new jackets and were so excited they couldn't wait to wear them! Wish them luck as they head off to compete at Districts today in Fillmore.
Also, this is your friendly reminder to support these kids at their pancake breakfast fundraiser (because who doesn't love pancakes, and awesome kids!?) on Sunday, February 16th, at the Stockton Fire Hall from 8AM-12:30PM!
