Hello Cassadaga Community!
I am so excited to start the school year as your new superintendent. One of the most important things to me as a leader is teamwork and collaboration. We have built several committees for the coming year where we will be seeking student, parent and community representation to help us build goals, solve problems and team up to do great things! We will be sending out information on all of these committees the first week of August.
Our Code of Conduct is in need of both immediate and long-range updates. We have collaborated quickly this summer to ensure that our Code of Conduct is up to date for the start of the new school year. You can find that updated document here https://5il.co/2sfcg. If you have comments you would like to share, please reach out to me to share your insights. We will also have a public hearing on August 28th at 6:00 PM before we approve the updated Code of Conduct.
For long-range planning and more substantial updates, we need you! Please consider joining our Code of Conduct Committee for this important work! This team will meet September through February, from 4:00-5:00PM on the following dates, to build a new Code of Conduct to be presented to the Board of Education in March for feedback and approval for the 2025-2026 school year:
~September 11, 2024
~October 9, 2024
~November 13, 2024
~December 11, 2024
~January 8, 2025
~February 12, 2025
We need 2 elementary and 2 middle-high school parents as well as students for this important work. Please email Mr. Tonelli rtonelli@cvcougars.org and Mrs. Sedlak ksedlak@cvcougars.org to sign up today!
-Ms. Mangus

Attention Fitness Center users! With graduation being Friday, June 28th, there will be a lot of traffic flow, therefore there will be NO afternoon/evening hours. The Fitness Center will be closed by 2:20 PM. Please join us in celebrating our seniors!

On Tuesday, SES had a bike assembly for the Pre-K class! Our kids learned bike safety from our very own School Safety Advisor, Officer Kent. We raffled off a bike and helmet to one student, Sharon Sarver, our preschool winner!

Our Wellness Committee was able to obtain bikes to raffle off to our students, one per grade level, from a number of local organizations (Park Church, Metallicux , PTO, WayWard, Pearl City Cycles and some generous staff members)! Our kids got to learn bike safety, simple bike repair, and first aid from our presenters!
Thank you to our presenters, Pearl City Cycles, Sinclairville EMS, and Chautauqua County sheriff Phil Lombardo!
