Art classes in SES and the MHS created artwork to celebrate International Dot Day. Dot Day is a celebration of creativity and art. The message from the book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds is to make your mark and see where it takes you!

Our CV Seniors and Juniors have had a busy autumn planning for their future! The fall season kicked off with the Western New York College Consortium, where Seniors and Juniors could visit with area college representatives. Seniors also went into 9th grade classes to discuss their experiences in high school and plans for the future. Some seniors also participated in a Jamestown Community College Admit Day, where they could complete their JCC college application and were issued an acceptance letter the same day!

Mrs. Bennink's JCC Education Class took a field trip to the Careers in Education Conference at Buffalo State University. Students were given the opportunity to hear from educators in different districts, college students in education programs, and speak with college representatives from colleges in Western NY. They participated in a variety of sessions that allowed them to experience different aspects of the teaching profession!

We love our Board of Education! Thank you for volunteering your time and for your dedication to our students, staff and community members!

❄️🌨️Attention Cougar Community! 🌨️❄️With the cold weather upon us, our District Office staff met and wanted to alert you about our communication for weather emergency days. We will do a test call to all staff and parents on the evening of October 21st. If you do not receive this call, please notify Melissa Wilson at (716) 962-5155 option 1 or mwilson@cvcougars.org. We also advertise closings on the local TV and radio stations.

Happy National Boss's Day to all of our administrative staff! We appreciate you and your dedication to the District every single day!

During the week of October 23-29, 2024, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week at Sinclairville Elementary School. The Red Ribbon Campaign originated in 1985, when a very brave law enforcement officer gave his life to save people.
Our Theme this year is: “Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free”
Our activities will include taking the Red Ribbon pledge, "I Spy" during lunch, dress up days, and items for our students to show their commitment to a healthy life.

Some of the FFA students attended the 3rd Annual Alfred State V.A.S.T. (Veterinary, Agricultural, STEM, and Technology) Career Event. Students had 50 different opportunities to expand their career interests. Some activities students were able to partake in were: sonogram a goat, operate excavators, drive a skid steer, climb a rock wall with the National Guard, and even take soil samples with the USDA.

Cassadaga Valley was selected as one of 20 schools to participate in the Shea’s Wonder Awards. We are excited for what this opportunity will bring for our drama club! #ValleyProud!

Just a reminder of the Homecoming/Spirit Week activities this week!

Good morning Cassadaga Valley. It has come to our attention that parents are getting automated absence calls today. We apologize for this. There is no school today as it is a holiday. No students will be marked absent today. Thank you!

Happy National Principals Month to our fellow principals, Mr. Tonelli and Mrs. Sedlak! Their hard work and daily commitment to our students and communities are truly inspiring. We're so blessed to have them be part of our amazing Cougar community! #ThankAPrincipal #NationalPrincipalsMonth #ValleyProud
