The algebra students in Mrs. Schrader's and Mr. Rizzo's (our student teacher from SUNY Fredonia) classes built and launched catapults outside as a culminating activity to our quadratic equation unit. The path the marshmallows took is that of projectile motion which the students will encounter on the Algebra Regents exam this June.

All modified sports begin practice on Tuesday April 9th

Hello CVCS School Community,
Students at Cassadaga Valley Middle/High School are leaving the building Tuesday with two pairs of solar eclipse glasses, and an informational sheet about the Total Solar Eclipse that will be visible on April 8th. We do have a few extra pairs of glasses if the need arises, but please remember that the building is closed a few days over Spring Break for holidays. If you would like to stop in to pick up an extra pair, please give the office a call first! (716) 962-8581

This concert is open to the public and includes our very own music teacher, Ms. Ann Rose (Jeong Eun Park)! Professor Pazour (from Prague Conservatory) and Ann Rose are duo music partners who improvise on two different pianos and create music together. This is a very rare type of performance that not many people are able to do in the world and they are delighted and grateful that SUNY Fredonia will be sponsoring their concert/workshops!
The concert (duo improvisation) is on 3/28 at 8:00 PM in Rosch Recital Hall at SUNY Fredonia and is free and open to the public!

On March 21st, students that participated in Cougar U had an opportunity to celebrate their learning with their families. Students showed off their skills in sign language, health and wellness, etiquette, science projects, mock trial expertise and expanding student imagination! Stay tuned for Cougar U enrichment opportunities in the summer of 2024!

Two great opportunities for students attending prom! Donations greatly appreciated with multiple drop off locations for each event.
